One of one — when it's gone, it's gone · free U.S. shipping over $100
This maple came out of the pile doing two things at once — spalted ink lines over a rolling curl — and the band of red mallee burl across the center splits the top like a sash between two quilt blocks. Warm at arm’s length, busy up close, in the best way.
Like every clapper on this bench, it’s built in two layers: a cherry base under the figured top, weighted so the mass — not your arm — sets the seam while it cools. Sanded to 320 grit, edges eased so they never mark fabric, sole left bare to drink the steam. You’re buying this exact clapper — the photos are the piece.
