Details
The showpiece of the batch. Three figured woods meet in one top: creamy maple burl on one end, deep-figured walnut on the other, and between them a band of red mallee burl so lacy it looks embroidered. No two inches repeat.
Like every clapper on this bench, it’s built in two layers: a cherry base under the figured top, weighted so the mass — not your arm — sets the seam while it cools. Sanded to 320 grit, edges eased so they never mark fabric, sole left bare to drink the steam. You’re buying this exact clapper — the photos are the piece.
